Critical regional development in the health sector.
Regional aged-care development nearing completion.
Stage 1 of the project delivered improvements to the existing residential aged care facility including consolidation of common areas and improved heating/cooling system, and the extension of a new 12-bed unit purpose-built facility to provide best practice dementia care.
Stage 2 saw continuation of the ongoing facility upgrade and expansion works including refurbishment of 8 existing bedrooms and associated communal spaces, and the addition of 9 new aged care bedrooms. The project also saw the continuation of a modern timber/metal façade with a striking contrast against the original historical façade.
Further refurbishment works are currently under way as part of Stage 3 works, with completion anticipated to be mid-2024.
