December, 2022 - End of Year Lunch

The Zinc team celebrated the closure of another successful year at Jack Rabbit restaurant on the beautiful Bellarine. It was quite the experience with wonderful food and an amazing view!

February, 2022 - Construction begins on Northern Aquatic and Community Hub

Construction finally has began on the City of Greater Geelong's much anticipated $61.6m aquatic and community hub. Zinc have been involved since initial concept design in 2017 and look forward to its completion in late 2023.

October, 2021 - MAKING A BIG SPLASH IN GEELONG

We are providing cost management services to three large pool construction projects for the City of Greater Geelong. The Leisurelink 50m Pool Renewal is currently undergoing construction whilst the Northern Aquatic & Community Hub (pictured above) and North Bellarine Aquatic Centre will be commencing soon.

Combined Total End Cost - approx. $80M

June, 2021 - New Drysdale Library mentioned in ArchitectureAU

The community of Drysdale, east of Geelong on the Bellarine Peninsula, will soon have a new public library.

Designed by Melbourne firms Antarctica Architects and Architecture Associates, the two-storey library will be circular in form and will “stitch together” surrounding parkland and the town centre.

The design incorporates a planted roofscape and an amphitheatre and terrace at ground level, and a “circular masonry drum” elevated over the lower terrace giving the library civic presence.

May, 2021 - $61.6m Northern Aquatic and Community Hub fully funded

City of Greater Geelong have announced that the Northern Aquatic and Community Hub has now had funded fully committed. Since project commencement in 2017, we are exciting to continue working alongside the design team (dwp) and our client City of Greater Geelong by providing full cost management services for the long awaited redevelopment of this important community facility. Well done to the City of Greater Geelong for its tireless campaigning to have this amazing project fully funded.
